A space to share stuff I like mostly about the Middle East, human rights and religion.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
2012 presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann releases her first ad, calling herself “the unifying choice that will beat Obama.”
Because nothing says you’re a unifier like:
- signing a pledge that says children born into slavery had a better chance of being raised by (their definition of) a family
- telling gay people you think their homosexuality is a health risk
- trying to pass a constitutional amendment that would ban same-sex marriage
- comparing gay and transgendered people to pedophiles
- saying your Muslim colleague in Congress pals around with terrorists
- believing the government collecting taxes is kinda sorta like the Holocaust
- proposing massive cuts to veterans’ benefits and veteran health care spending (before backing off)
